Frequently Asked

Your questions, answered.

If you don't find your answer here, message us on WhatsApp — we usually reply within an hour.

How do I book Villa Soleil?

The fastest path is WhatsApp +62 877 7000 1535 with your dates, group size, and any special requests. We respond within an hour during operating hours (07:00-23:00 WIB) and usually within 4 hours overnight. Direct booking saves 12-18% vs Airbnb fees. You can also book via Airbnb if you prefer their platform protections.

What is the cancellation policy?

Direct bookings: free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival; 50% refund 14-29 days before; non-refundable inside 14 days. Peak season (Jul 1-Aug 31, Dec 20-Jan 5) has stricter policy with 60-day full-refund window. Airbnb bookings follow Airbnb's strict policy. For unusual situations (medical emergencies, flight cancellations beyond your control) we work with guests case-by-case.

How much does Villa Soleil cost per night?

Rates start from IDR 4.5 million per night (low season, 4 bedrooms, up to 8 guests) and scale up to IDR 7-9 million for peak season. Pricing depends on dates, length of stay (3+ nights discount), and group size. Whole-villa rental only — we don't rent individual rooms. WhatsApp with your dates for exact quote — typically replied within an hour.

What payment methods do you accept?

Direct bookings: bank transfer (BCA, Mandiri rupiah accounts), international wire (USD, EUR, SGD), Wise, or credit card via secure payment link (3% surcharge). Airbnb bookings: their standard payment options. For direct bookings, 30% deposit holds the dates; 70% balance due 7 days before arrival.

Is there a security deposit?

Yes — IDR 5 million refundable security deposit, payable on arrival via cash or card. Returned within 7 days of check-out if no damage. For Airbnb bookings, their authorization-hold system handles this automatically.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Standard check-in is from 14:00 WIB. Check-out by 11:00 WIB. Early check-in (12:00) or late check-out (15:00) is usually available if no back-to-back booking — request via WhatsApp 24-48 hours before. After-hours check-in (until 23:00) is free; later requires advance notice. Self check-in via lockbox is supported if you arrive when staff is off-duty.

Do you arrange airport transfer?

Yes — pre-arranged transfer from Denpasar airport (DPS) is IDR 250-300k each way, English-speaking driver, fresh water, and Bali sign with your name. Trip is 20-30 minutes. We track your flight; if delayed, driver waits without extra charge. Book at least 24 hours ahead. See our airport-to-villa guide for more.

How close is Villa Soleil to the beach?

Geger Beach is a 10-minute walk (650m). Mengiat Beach is 12 minutes (850m). Both are wide, calm, sheltered bay beaches ideal for families and casual swimming. The famous Pandawa Beach is 8 minutes by car. See our Location page for a live interactive map.

What's included in the rate?

Whole villa (4 bedrooms, sleeps 8), private pool, full kitchen, daily housekeeping, WiFi (200 Mbps fiber), all utilities, welcome amenities (coffee, tea, water, snacks), bathrobes, premium toiletries, beach equipment loaners (snorkel masks, beach umbrellas, yoga mats), and 24/7 villa manager contact. Not included: meals (kitchen is fully usable), driver service, spa, and activity bookings — all of which we arrange.

Is Villa Soleil family-friendly?

Yes — we welcome families with kids of all ages. The villa has 4 bedrooms (3 with king/queen beds, 1 flexible), pool with shallow end, secure perimeter walls, and we can add cribs/high-chairs from our loaner stock. We maintain a list of trusted babysitters (IDR 75-100k/hour) and family-experienced drivers. See our Bali with Kids guide for area-specific recommendations.

Can I work from the villa?

Yes — we have 200 Mbps fiber internet (tested), backup mobile hotspot, dedicated desk space in two suites, ergonomic chair, monitor available on request, and quiet zones for video calls. The villa is in a residential pocket of Nusa Dua — low ambient noise. Many digital nomads book multi-week stays here.

Do you accept pets?

Generally no — we make exceptions for service animals with prior arrangement and for very small house-trained dogs at host discretion (additional cleaning fee IDR 750k). Contact us before booking to discuss. Indonesia has rabies regulations affecting some imported pets; we advise checking with your airline and Indonesian customs.

Do I need a driver during my stay?

Recommended for most guests. A private driver (IDR 500-700k/day for 10 hours) is the rational way to explore Bali — covers airport, beach trips, restaurants, temples, shopping. We maintain a trusted-driver list and can arrange same-day or with 24 hours notice. See our transport guide for options including Grab, scooter, and walking.

Where do guests eat?

Three main options. Cook in: the villa kitchen is fully equipped, groceries delivered same-day from Bintang or Grand Lucky. Eat out: warungs around Jl. Siligita (IDR 30-50k/person), Bali Collection food court (mid-range), or fine dining at Bumbu Bali or Spice. In-villa private chef: we arrange Balinese 5-course tasting (IDR 850k/person, min 4). See our restaurants guide.

What's the best time to visit?

Dry season (April-October) is ideal — sunny days, low humidity, predictable weather. Shoulder seasons (April-May, September-October) hit the sweet spot of good weather with fewer crowds and lower rates. Rainy season (November-March) has shorter rain bursts; rates drop 20-30%. See our best-time guide.
