Nusa Dua is the south-east tip of Bali — a peninsula known for its calm beaches, manicured streets, and the kind of quiet that comes from being away from the rush of Seminyak and Canggu. Villa Soleil sits on a tucked-away road minutes from the coast, the airport, and a string of restaurants worth driving for.
Nusa Dua is the closest part of Bali to the airport — and far enough from the crowds.
Times by car. Airport transfer available on request.
Carved into limestone cliffs and reached by a road that switches back through the rock. White sand, calm water, fresh coconuts under thatched umbrellas.
The neighbourhood's open-air dining and shopping village. Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, and a few good cocktail bars — all walking distance once you arrive.
The iconic clifftop temple at Bali's south-western edge. Stay for the kecak fire dance at sunset — book ahead, arrive an hour early for a seat with the view.
Quieter than Pandawa, with a long curve of white sand and warungs serving grilled fish and young coconut. Best at low tide for the natural pool.
The 121-metre cultural park statue, visible from much of the south. Worth the visit at golden hour, when the limestone walls catch the late light.
A short walk along the coast where waves crash through a natural fissure in the rock. Loud, dramatic, and free. Time it for the afternoon tide.
