Villa Soleil is a private, four-bedroom residence in the Nusa Dua peninsula of Bali. We designed it for our own family before realizing it had become something we wanted to share — a Mediterranean-inspired retreat that doesn't feel like a hotel, doesn't feel like an Airbnb, but feels like a home you'd build if you lived here year-round.
Travertine bathrooms. Arched windows. A pool deck that faces the morning sun. A kitchen with the appliances a serious cook actually uses. A mezzanine living room that opens to the garden. Built in 2024, with intention.
Nusa Dua is the quiet southern peninsula of Bali — designed in the 1970s as a planned resort zone, today it's a calm pocket of luxury hotels and residential villas. Different from the chaos of Seminyak or the surfer-cool of Canggu. The trade-off: 10 minutes from Pandawa Beach, 12 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes from Uluwatu sunset. The villa is owned and managed by the in-house team. The team grew up in Indonesia, traveled widely, and decided to settle in Bali to raise his kids. He's hands-on with guests — answers WhatsApp himself, arranges drivers personally, recommends restaurants based on where he actually eats. Not an absentee landlord. Not a corporate property manager.
